Job summary

Willow Branch Health and Rehabilitation in Tennessee is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation, treatment planning, and ongoing therapy focused on communication, cognition, and swallowing safety. You will work within our in-house therapy program and collaborate with residents and the rehabilitation team to ensure high-quality patient care and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Valid state Speech Language Pathologist license.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification, where applicable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide, oversee, or direct speech-language pathology services to optimize patient communication and swallowing function.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and billing in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Provide updates to the Director of Rehabilitation regarding departmental activities.
• Maintain patient-centered interactions with patients, interdisciplinary teams, and facility staff.
• Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants and rehab staff where applicable.
• Participate in utilization review, care conferences, and interdisciplinary team activities.
• Develop and enhance SLPathology programs to support quality outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with environmental safety, infection control, and patient rights policies.
• Pursue continuing education to enhance clinical expertise.
• Maintain state licensure and ASHA certification as applicable.
