Job summary

The Eden of Las Colinas in Irving, TX, a post-acute care facility, seeks a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist for our in-house rehab program. You will perform screenings, develop care plans, and deliver rehabilitative therapy to geriatric patients in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• New grads welcome; open to SLPs at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care; develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment to patients per regulatory standards.
• Administer procedures as part of rehab plan: manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, assistive devices, wound care.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers and other providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.
