Job summary

The Palazzo in Phoenix, Arizona is hiring a licensed Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time role in a Skilled Nursing setting. You will have clinical autonomy within a collaborative rehabilitation team, delivering high-quality care that improves residents' communication and quality of life.

Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and implementing therapy for speech, language, cognition, and dysphagia.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona SLP license required.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or related medical setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language and swallowing evaluations per physician orders and state standards.
• Assess speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and dysphagia disorders.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized plans of care with measurable goals.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions for communication, cognition, and swallowing.
• Perform clinical swallowing evaluations and dysphagia management.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans based on findings.
