Job summary

Brookestone Rehabilitation in Springfield, MO is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our therapy team. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs, and develop individualized plans of care.

You’ll collaborate with physicians, nurses, and families, monitor progress, document outcomes, and educate patients on ongoing care. Missouri licensure and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri Speech Language Pathologist license in good standing.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing needs
• Deliver evidence-based therapy services that support functional independence and quality of life
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, families, and caregivers to coordinate care
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment approaches as needed, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Educate patients and families on treatment goals, strategies, and ongoing care needs
