Aspire Senior Living Malden, a skilled nursing facility in Malden, MO, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary team. This full-time day position focuses on evaluating and treating residents with speech-language and swallowing disorders in a warm, resident-centered environment.

You will conduct screenings, develop tailored treatment plans, deliver therapy sessions, and maintain detailed progress notes while collaborating with nurses, therapists, and care staff

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify speech-language and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified deficits
• Provide speech-language therapy sessions to residents, including articulation, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for each resident
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident progress and treatment plans
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and treatment plans
• Maintain standards of professional practice and adhere to facility policies and procedures
