Job summary

Apploi is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a standalone Skilled Nursing Facility in Lockport, NY. This full-time role focuses on treating residents with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

You will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, maintain documentation, and educate families and staff on progress. NY licensure and CCC-SLP preferred; CFY considered.

Qualifications

• Current New York Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates may be considered.
• Geriatric or skilled nursing experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each resident's goals and needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and families to deliver patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Educate residents and caregivers on treatment strategies and progress.
