Job summary

Legacy Healthcare is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a standalone Skilled Nursing Facility in Lockport, NY. This full-time position offers a resident-centered environment and a collaborative therapy team.

You will evaluate and treat residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, develop individualized plans, document thoroughly, and educate families and caregivers. Licensure in NY is required; CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates may apply.

Qualifications

• Current New York Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates may be considered.
• Geriatric or Skilled Nursing Facility experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each resident's goals and needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and families to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Educate residents and caregivers on treatment strategies and progress.
