Kodiak Area Native Association (KANA) seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to provide EI/ILP services to children birth to three and to coordinate family services. The role emphasizes delivering therapy in the child’s natural environment and collaborating with families and a multidisciplinary team.

The position involves case management, IFSP development, and transition planning, with emphasis on culturally competent practice in Kodiak community settings.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology with current certification or licensure.
• One year of experience with young children ages 0–5 or equivalent.
• Experience working with diverse cultural groups preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide EI/ILP speech language therapy services in the child’s natural environment.
• Serve as Family Service Coordinator for enrolled children focusing on communication and adaptive development.
• Coordinate IFSP goals, family intake, evaluations, and transitions.
• Identify and refer for additional medical or therapeutic services when needed.
• Maintain caseload records, participate in weekly ILP meetings and team activities.
