Job summary

Programs for Infants and Children (PIC) in Anchorage is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team, providing early intervention to infants and toddlers with developmental delays and disabilities, primarily in homes and natural settings.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, mentoring one another and building skills through paid professional development, while incorporating family-centered coaching to bring development into everyday routines at home, school, and community

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology with licensure eligibility or active license.
  • Interest in early intervention and family-centered coaching.
  • Experience with infants and toddlers with developmental delays preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess children's communication and developmental strengths and needs and contribute to treatment goals.
  • Provide early intervention strategies to support communication, language, feeding, and related skills.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers so they can support their child's communication and development.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate services and problem-solve together.
  • Provide services primarily in children's homes and other natural community settings.
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with families while supporting their priorities.

Join a close-knit team providing early intervention to infants and toddlers and their families.

Programs for Infants and Children (PIC) in Anchorage is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. This is a professional early intervention role working with infants and toddlers with developmental delays and disabilities, primarily in their homes and other natural settings. You'll use your speech-language expertise to help children build communication skills and support families in making development part of everyday life.

You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes early special educators, speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, and social workers. At PIC, professionals mentor and coach one another, build their skills through paid professional development, and have the flexibility and generous paid leave to support a sustainable career.

Using a family-centered coaching model, you'll work with families to build strategies into everyday routines and activities - bringing early intervention directly into the places where children live, learn, and grow.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

We are seeking candidates with:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a current license to practice, or eligibility for licensure.

Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply.

A strong interest in early intervention, family coaching, and collaborative practice.

Experience working with infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities or delays is preferred.
