Job summary

Plateau Excavation, Inc. is seeking a Project Scheduler to join our site development team. You will develop and maintain schedules for earthwork, utilities, and milestones, working closely with project managers and field leaders to reflect how sitework is built.

You will coordinate progress updates, analyze critical paths, and produce look-ahead schedules and reports to support timely decisions. The role offers a team-focused culture emphasizing safety, quality, and long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience scheduling construction projects, preferably sitework or heavy civil.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or a comparable scheduling platform.
• Strong understanding of critical path methods, construction sequencing, and progress measurement.
• Ability to validate field information and explain schedule impacts clearly; relevant degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build logic-driven baseline schedules covering earthwork, utilities, and project milestones.
• Gather progress updates from field teams and maintain accurate schedule status.
• Analyze critical paths, float, constraints, and impacts to project completion.
• Coordinate procurement, permitting, access, inspections, and resource dependencies.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules, reports, and recovery scenarios with project teams.
• Document schedule assumptions and changes and support client schedule reviews.
