Job summary

Propel Braddock Hills Middle/High School is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist to support special education students, plan targeted instruction, and assess progress in alignment with Pennsylvania standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with administrators and staff in planning for and leading special education students to learning success
• Develop, modify, provide and assess specialized instruction based on Pennsylvania standards
• Design coherent instruction aligned with state standards and emerging best practices
• Develop and update learning resources and participate in professional development
• Create an instructional environment with respect and rapport to promote learning
• Utilize various instructional strategies to engage students and promote age-appropriate learning
• Manage classroom procedures to maintain a safe learning environment
• Assess student learning and use data to drive instruction
• Coordinate with school personnel to implement IEP supports and services
• Maintain accurate records and report progress according to policies
• Communicate with families regularly and respond to inquiries timely
