Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for a school-based role in New York, NY. The SLP will support 6-12 grade students with expressive, receptive, pragmatic, and articulation delays in a full school-day setting onsite.

The ideal candidate holds a NY State license and a Certificate of Clinical Competence, with prior school experience and a passion for inclusive education. This is a 3-month contract with 35–37.5 hours per week, offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and NY State License required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence required for professional eligibility.
• Experience in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide educationally-based speech and language therapy to support student goals.
• Develop clear expressive, receptive, pragmatic, and articulation goals.
• Offer individual and small group therapy for diverse speech/language needs.
• Provide timely feedback to students based on goals.
• Push-in to generalize skills in academic settings.
• Support AAC systems for significant expressive language disorders.
• Conduct screenings to identify students needing further evaluation.
• Maintain accurate records of sessions, goals and outcomes.
• Communicate with families via email, conferences, and progress reports.
• Collaborate with faculty and therapy team to support student development.
