The role requires Ohio licensure, a master's degree, and ASHA CCC preferred; you will manage caseloads, document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate within a positive school culture.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Ohio teaching certificate or license.
• Master's Degree required.
• ASHA CCC preferred or considered as optional.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manages the speech-language caseload and therapy schedules.
• Prepares and transmits legally compliant special education documents by deadlines.
• Provides individual and group language and communication therapy.
• Documents therapy progress and monitors intervention efficacy.
• Helps students acquire functional communication, self-regulation, and social skills.
• Interprets data and test results to qualify students for services.
• Maintains accurate records and supports IEP team processes.
• Uses evidence-based techniques to address speech-language disorders.
• Communicates objectives of IEPs and SDI to families and staff.
• Collaborates with teachers to integrate goals into classroom activities.
