Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA preferred.
• G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction required/preferred.
• License from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists may be held.

Responsibilities

• Organizes the school program and coordinates services with staff and family.
• Maintains Medicaid billing profiles and therapy notes.
• Conducts screening and testing and makes program recommendations.
• Develops Individual Education Programs with teachers, parents and professionals.
• Plans therapy using appropriate diagnostic tools to support the curriculum.
• Manages time, facilities and resources to deliver services.
• Promotes ongoing professional growth and collaboration.
• Provides consultation and referrals for implementation of services.
