Franklin County Schools seeks a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to assist students with communication needs in Louisburg, NC.

The role involves screening, evaluation, and developing individual education programs, with collaboration among families, teachers and support staff. Must hold a master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and be eligible for NC licensure; ASHA CCC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Preferred to have ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
• Must have a G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction.
• May have a license from the Board of Examiners for SLPs and Audiologists.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and coordinates school program services and maintains records per rules and ethics.
• Maintains Medicaid billing profiles and therapy notes for eligible students.
• Develops Individual Education Programs with teachers, parents, and professionals.
• Plans therapy using diagnostic tools and supports curriculum access.
• Provides liaison and consultation for implementation of services.
• Supervises speech-language assistants and clinical fellows as appropriate.
