Job summary

Clarkston Community Schools is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct and consult services to students within IEPs. Responsibilities include assessments, diagnoses, and developing treatment plans aligned with IDEA and MARSE.

The role requires collaboration with IEPT, teachers, and families to implement accommodations and support AAC devices where needed. The candidate will also maintain student records, stay current with best practices, and contribute to district-wide

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology license.
• ASHA CCC or CFY completion/credential recommended.
• Experience with IEP development and collaboration with educators.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct/consultation speech and language services to students per IEPs.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses and plan treatments per IDEA/MARSE.
• Collaborate with IEPT and educators on IEP development and accommodations.
• Maintain communication with parents, staff and administrators.
• Maintain caseload records and progress notes.
