Job summary

The Gates Chili Central School District is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, treat, and help prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and related disorders across students from Pre-K through high school.

The full-time position (10-month or 12-month options) offers benefits and a negotiable pay range around $44,500, with NYS certification and license required. Collaboration with diverse families is essential.

Qualifications

• NY State Certification in Speech and Language Disabilities and NYS License as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Ability to work with students from Pre-K through High School with a range of disabilities.
• Experience with diverse populations is desired.
• Willingness to engage in IEP development, Medicaid billing, and therapy log documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat and help prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing disorders.
• Work across settings, Pre-Kindergarten to High School.
• Engage in IEP development, Medicaid billing and report writing.
• Collaborate with families from culturally diverse backgrounds.
• Travel to district buildings and professional meetings as required.
