ProCare Therapy seeks a contract-based School Social Worker to deliver direct counseling and social work services to pre-K through 6th-grade students near Harrison, ME. You will work with educators and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate IEPs and support both general and special education needs.

The role involves a 35-hour week, weekly pay, and benefits including medical/dental/vision and life insurance, plus a 401k match and a flexible spending account.

Formación

• Active Maine Educator Certification.
• Current Maine clinical license (LCSW, LMSW-cc, LCPC, or LCPC-c).
• Experience as a school social worker, counselor, or clinical therapist with children/adolescents.
• Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration abilities.
• Understanding of special education processes and the development/implementation of IEPs.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver individual and small group counseling and social work services to students.
• Caseload currently averaging 56 students weekly with potential to support more.
• Participate in team meetings, including IEP planning, for comprehensive student support.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to enhance student well-being.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation per school and state requirements.
