ACE Amandla Charter School is seeking a School Safety & Security Officer to maintain a safe, structured school environment through active supervision and consistent enforcement of expectations. The role emphasizes proactive engagement, communication, and collaboration with staff to prevent incidents before they arise.

The position requires a proactive approach, reliability, and the ability to respond quickly to safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the United States on a full-time basis (Required).
• Experience working in a high school or youth-focused setting (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor hallways, stairwells, bathrooms, and common areas throughout the school day.
• Respond promptly to radio calls for safety concerns and support needs.
• Enforce the Student Code of Conduct consistently and fairly.
• Ensure students are supervised and in appropriate locations at all times during transitions and arrivals/dismissals.
• Assist with recruitment efforts and maintain a welcoming environment for visitors.
