Job summary

Weld County School District RE-5J in Colorado seeks a School Psychologist Intern for the 2026-27 year. This one-year internship offers 187 days with prorated salary of $50,500 for the full year, plus comprehensive medical, dental, and life insurance, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate coursework in educational/psychological assessment completed.
• Colorado School Psychologist Intern Authorization (or obtain).
• Experience in school settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate on the multi-disciplinary assessment team for evaluations.
• Provide individual or group counseling under supervision.
• Assist the IEP team with FBA and related plans.
• Offer consultation and advocacy to parents of students with disabilities.
• Interview students during crises under supervision.
• Maintain records per district policy and state law.
• Advocate for students according to guidelines and standards.
