Job summary

Qualifications

• LVN or RN licensed in the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and nursing care for ill and injured students.
• Identify signs and symptoms of communicable disease and follow infection control procedures.
• Demonstrate and utilize knowledge of drug and treatment protocols when administering medications and treatments.
• Inform principal and Lead Nurse of health concerns noted on campus.
• Provide appropriate intervention for crisis situations.
• Serve as a resource person to students, families and staff as appropriate.
