Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid RN or LVN license issued by Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
• CPR certification from AHA/ARC or willingness to obtain.
• Preferred: DSHS hearing/vision screening certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide temporary and emergency care for sick and injured students as per policy.
• Manage activities/care and prescribed treatment in the absence of the regular nurse.
• Administer medications per policy and standing orders.
• Maintain health records and documentation per district guidelines.
• Collaborate with Health Services Coordinator and campus nurse.
