Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Illinois.
• First Aid and CPR certification completed.
• Prior nursing experience in a school environment is preferred.
• Express good judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality of employees, students and families.
• Strong oral and written communication skills as well as organizational and technology skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a professional and service oriented atmosphere in the Health clinic area.
• Provide professional direct nursing care and emergency assistance to students and staff as needed.
• Supervise and/or administer medications.
• Record attendance and clinic visit notes.
• Contact the parents of students who are injured or ill.
• Ability to interact and work with a diverse population, including students, parents, faculty and staff.
