Job summary

Glide School District is seeking a dynamic School Bus Driver. This 0.5 FTE position works part time, about 5 hours per day, following a four-day school week (Monday through Thursday). Start date is August 26, 2026, with a pay range of $20.86–$24.21 per hour.

The role reports to the Transportation Supervisor and operates under the Classified staff classification. This district emphasizes student safety and reliable transportation for daily routes and field trips.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Drives school buses on regularly scheduled routes, field trips, and other District approved trips.
• Transport students with special needs inside and out of District.
• Obeys traffic laws and State of Oregon standards for transportation of students.
• Maintains trip mileage, passenger counts, and stop records as required.
• Works with Transportation Department to provide reliable service to customers.
