Qualifications

• Master's degree in audiology and/or speech pathology with state certification as Speech Pathologist or Speech Therapist.
• Licensure by the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology.
• National Certification by ASHA (CCC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech and language services per policy in assigned schools.
• Develops IEP goals and planning for direct/related services.
• Administers screenings and referrals in accordance with guidelines.
• Communicates with parents and school staff to coordinate services.
• Maintains therapy environment and documentation, including Medicaid billing as required.
