Qualifications

• Master’s degree in audiology and/or speech pathology with state certification as Speech Pathologist or Therapist.
• LA licensure as Speech Pathologist or Therapist required.
• ASHA CCC/Certification preferred for National Certification.

Responsibilities

• Implements speech and language program in schools per state/local policy.
• Administers speech and language services to promote development.
• Develops IEP goals and conducts conferences for student planning.
• Maintains therapy environment and prepares lesson plans.
• Prepares diagnostic reports and Medicaid billing where applicable.
