Job summary

Manchester School District is seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support licensed SLPs across multiple elementary locations in Manchester, NH. The role includes screenings, therapy under supervision, and documentation aligned with IEP goals.

The position offers a full benefits package and requires an SLPA license in New Hampshire, plus a valid driver's license. This is a full-time, non-affiliated district position with up to 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in speech-language pathology or related field from an accredited program.
• Current and valid SLPA license issued by NH.
• Prior school setting experience preferred.
• Experience implementing therapy under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist SLPs in screening, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders.
• Follow treatment plans and IEPs under supervision of licensed professionals.
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students per IEP goals.
• Assist with strategies, accommodations and adaptive equipment for students.
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports.
• Assist with Medicaid billing.
