TheraPeds Partners is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based role in Central Falls, Rhode Island for the 2026–2027 school year. You will work on-site with students, collaborating with educators and TheraPeds staff to support communication goals.

The position offers guaranteed hours and a supportive multi-disciplinary environment. Responsibilities include direct therapy, evaluations, IEP development and progress monitoring, with a manageable caseload

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Active or eligible for Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
• Rhode Island Department of Education certification or credential for school-based practice
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
• CF-SLP candidates may be considered with supervision
• Experience working with children
• School-based experience preferred
• Strong understanding of speech and language development, assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
• Knowledge of the IEP process and special education services
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational, documentation, case-management, and time-management skills
• Comfortable using technology for documentation, communication, assessment, and service delivery
• Fingerprint background clearance
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with tact and discretion
• Professionalism and confidentiality

Responsabilités

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students individually and in small groups
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals
• Evaluate student progress and adjust intervention strategies based on data
• Provide consultation and support to teachers, special education staff, and families
• Support students with articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, social/pragmatic communication, and other communication needs
• Support students who use AAC as appropriate
• Monitor student performance and collect data to measure progress
• Complete timely and accurate documentation and progress reports
• Participate in IEP, eligibility, reevaluation, and interdisciplinary team meetings
• Manage assigned student caseloads and required documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, therapists, administrators, and other school professionals
• Provide case management services, as assigned
