Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health is seeking a School Physical Therapist to collaborate with educators and families, performing assessments and creating individualized treatment plans to improve student mobility and function.

The role requires a DPT, NPTE completion, and an active state license, with strong communication skills and a willingness to complete background checks. School-based experience is a plus, and hybrid supports are possible depending on district needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
• Active Physical Therapy license in the state.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain results clearly.
• Previous school-based experience is a plus.
• Completion of background and criminal record checks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the school district as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Screen, evaluate, and diagnose students referred for physical therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Provide evidence-based direct therapy and consultative services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state standards.
• Engage with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs.
