Job summary

Racker is expanding Day Treatment services in Liverpool, NY, and seeks a Day Treatment Counselor to join an interdisciplinary team in a school setting. You will provide individual and group therapy, family support and case management, and collaborate with school staff to coordinate care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field.
• LMSW required or eligibility within 60 days of hire.
• Clinical counseling experience, school-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive treatment program to enhance social, emotional and behavioral functioning across school, home and community.
• Provide individual and group therapy to students.
• Act as a case manager to coordinate treatment goals.
• Provide crisis intervention support to students in need.
• Complete assessments for diagnostic understanding and treatment planning.
• Offer family support and therapy services and keep families informed.
• Share treatment information with team members and maintain open communication.
• Engage in clinical supervision and complete documentation per guidelines.
