Job summary

Alexander Youth Network is seeking a Mental Health Counselor for our Day Treatment Program in Winston-Salem, NC. You will manage behavior and track treatment progress, coordinate services with families, and lead group activities aligned with the Person-Centered Plan.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of child mental health/day treatment experience, a relevant degree, and a valid driver’s license. MS Office skills are preferred to document care and coordinate teams.

Qualifications

• Education: B.A./B.S./Associate Degree in Social Work or related field required.
• Qualified Professional (QP) - 2–4 years of experience in child mental health and/or day treatment.
• Valid Driver's license in state of residency and ability to drive as needed.
• MS Office familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages behavior and records treatment progress of clients in Day Treatment.
• Coordinates service delivery by assessing child and family needs and linking with services.
• Conducts and leads group activities to support treatment goals and reviews the Person-Centered Plan with the Child and Family Team.
