Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Salesforce Life Sciences Functional Architect to lead functional design within a Salesforce Life Sciences program. You will run requirements sessions, translate business processes into platform solutions, and guide a team of analysts and configurators.

You will collaborate with client owners and product owners, drive workshop outcomes, and ensure designs align with architectural direction. Expect travel 25%–100% as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Salesforce experience in a functional design or solution consulting capacity.
• Minimum 3 years delivering Salesforce solutions for Life Sciences clients or another regulated industry.
• Minimum of 1 year of Salesforce Life Sciences Patient services experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of Salesforce Life Sciences experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
• Travel may be required for this role (25%–100%).
• Familiarity with Life Sciences data model, security, and declarative configuration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the functional solution design for an assigned workstream within a Salesforce Life Sciences program.
• Lead design workshops with client business/product owners and translate outcomes into user stories and specifications.
• Configure and demonstrate Salesforce Life Sciences capabilities and build prototypes.
• Make day-to-day design decisions within your domain and elevate cross-workstream decisions to the lead architect.
• Partner with technical leads to ensure designs are buildable and support estimation, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
• Guide and review work of analysts and offshore team members, providing coaching and quality oversight.
