Qualifications

• Must hold a valid IL paraprofessional license.
• Associate’s degree or higher or 60 college credits; HS Diploma or GED with ETS Parapro or ACT Workkeys.
• Must be at least 19 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to small groups in reading, writing and mathematics.
• Assess student progress and modify instructional methods to fit individual needs.
• Coordinate with RtI teachers on assessments and remedial techniques.
• Promote a safe, orderly classroom environment and uphold district policies.
• Document teaching activities and student progress and outcomes.
• Assist with program implementation under teacher direction.
