Job summary

Encompass Health in NH is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver direct patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will assess respiratory status, administer therapies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery.

You will supervise care plans, educate patients and families, and engage in ongoing professional growth with access to advanced equipment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• State license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients needing medical gas, breathing therapy, and medications.
• Supervise care and breathing treatments, lead assessments, create personalized care plans, address patient concerns.
• Build relationships with patients by understanding physical, mental and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the path to recovery.
