Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will provide direct respiratory care, lead breathing treatments, and contribute to patient assessments and individualized care plans in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Ideal candidates hold a state RT license, CPR, and preferably ACLS, with a couple of years of hospital experience. We offer a collaborative team, cutting-edge equipment, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients requiring medical gas and breathing therapy modalities.
• Supervise care and breathing treatments, conduct patient assessments, and develop personalized care plans.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients to support recovery.
• Celebrate patient victories along the journey to recovery.
