Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide direct patient care in respiratory care under physician orders, consulting with physicians on therapy effectiveness, and serving as an advanced resource for the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• PALS required for ER personnel.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
