Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program.

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) National Board of Respiratory Care required prior to expiration of the TPP.

Responsibilities

• Administers therapeutic respiratory care procedures according to hospital and department policies.
• Completes documentation required to measure, monitor, and ensure department effectiveness (charting, billing, IPOC, patient/family education).
• Performs diagnostic respiratory procedures according to hospital and department policies.
• Provides instruction to patients and other members of the healthcare team as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
