• Set up and operate ventilators, nebulizers and compressors.
• Monitor treatment parameters and patient response.
• Inspect equipment for safe operation and perform testing.
• Consult with physician in case of adverse reactions.
• Order repairs when needed.
• Demonstrate respiratory care procedures to trainees.
• Perform tracheostomy tube changes.
