Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You’ll deliver respiratory care, supervise breathing treatments, assess patients, and tailor care plans to support recovery and independence.

Required: current State License in Respiratory Therapy and CPR certification; ACLS preferred; two years hospital experience preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits, ongoing education, and opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Current State License in Respiratory Therapy.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas, breathing therapy modality, and medication.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
