Job summary

Sunrise Community, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support role in New York. You will provide support, supervision and positive interactions to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to help them live valued lives.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, basic computer skills, and fluency in English. Supervisory experience is preferred, and a pre-employment background and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's License and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and reports suspected abuse or rights violations.
• Ensures health, safety and well-being of individuals.
• Supervises and trains staff providing support and supervision.
• Implements therapy, training and behavior programs as per individual plans.
