Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living in Brentwood, CA is seeking a Resident Engagement Coordinator to develop and coordinate programs that enhance resident life and wellbeing across the community.

At least 1 year of direct experience with adults coordinating and executing programs is required; a high school diploma or GED is required, and a Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education, or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of direct experience with adults coordinating, planning, and executing programs is required.
• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required.
• Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education, or other related field preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a monthly calendar, in partnership with residents, based on residents' shared interests.
• Collaborates with community leadership team to plan, coordinate, and execute special events at the community.
• Plans and schedules meaningful opportunities for resident engagement outside the community, which may include driving a community vehicle.
