Job summary

The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA is seeking a full-time Research Administrator to support the Tarjan Center and PEERs Clinic. This role will oversee sponsored research administration and serve as liaison among faculty, funding agencies, and campus partners to ensure successful funding programs.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-award administration, budget analysis, grant proposal coordination, and compliance with sponsor and University requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-award and post-award administration for sponsored research projects, grants, and contracts
• Develop, monitor, reconcile, and analyze project budgets and financial reports
• Coordinate grant proposal preparation, submission, and compliance activities
• Administer contract, sub awards, and other sponsored project agreements
• Support philanthropic partnerships, community collaborations, and strategic initiatives
• Coordinate outreach, dissemination, conferences, trainings, and stakeholders engagement activities
• Ensure compliance with sponsor, regulatory, and University requirements
