Job summary

West Milford Township Board of Education's Maple Road School in New Jersey is seeking a Replacement Special Education Teacher (MD) to deliver specialized learning experiences that align with the NJ Student Learning Standards and an IEP, using approved curricula and school directives.

The role requires ongoing collaboration with administrators, the case manager, general education teachers, related services staff and parents; differentiation of instruction based on data to meet diverse student

Qualifications

• NJ State Certification for Students with Disabilities or Handicapped
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiasm and willingness to work with elementary students

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized learning experiences aligned with NJ Student Learning Standards and the IEP.
• Collaborate with administration, case manager, general education teachers, related services staff and parents.
• Utilize data to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Experience with MD students is preferred.
