Job summary

Skill Sprouts ABA in New Mexico is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to help children with autism and developmental disabilities build meaningful skills in home, school, and community settings. You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision, teach communication and daily living skills, collect data, and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation.

Current RBT certification preferred; travel to client homes is required.

Qualifications

• Current RBT certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification if required.
• Experience working with children, especially children with autism or developmental disabilities, preferred.
• Patient, compassionate, dependable, and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and willingness to learn and accept feedback.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes, schools, and community settings.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in their homes, schools, and community settings.
• Follow individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Teach communication, social, play, independence, and daily living skills.
• Collect accurate data during therapy sessions and track client progress.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Communicate regularly with your BCBA and clinical team.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA.
