Job summary

Channel ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Frederick County, MD. You will implement ABA treatment plans one-on-one, collect data, and collaborate with a BCBA to support children’s communication, social, and daily living skills.

Responsibilities include delivering therapy in homes, schools, and community settings, maintaining data accuracy, and providing family support. Afternoon/Evening availability is required; travel within the area may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
• High school diploma (bachelor's degree in a related field preferred).
• One year minimum of working with individuals with autism, developmental delays, or behavioral challenges.
• Experience with online data collection programs preferred.
• Efficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines in the field of ABA.
• Must submit to a federal and state background check.
• Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, crawl, squat, run, or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, move, and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Reliable mode of transportation and ability to travel up to 45 minutes.
• Current first aid and CPR certifications and willingness to complete background checks.
• Must have Afternoon/Evening availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities in homes, schools, and community settings
• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA, working one-on-one with clients
• Maintain accurate and timely data collection and reporting
• Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and modify treatment plans as needed
• Provide ongoing support and supervision to clients and families
