Job summary

ABA A Step At A Time Care (ASAT) seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Vernon, CT. We are a passionate, parent-founded and clinician-led ABA company dedicated to outcomes-driven and evidence-based practices, fostering collaboration, growth, and client success.

As an RBT, you will provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, or community settings, implement plans by a BCBA, and collect progress data.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-community.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respoect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.
• Continue with professional development.
