Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Tech - Radiology/Imaging at Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, TX. The Technologist operates imaging equipment, ensures image quality, safety and patient care while maintaining ALARA principles and proper PPE.

Responsibilities include assisting Radiologists, preparing exam rooms, and supervising students as needed. Current ARRT certification, Texas license, and CPR are required; strong communication and safety focus preferred.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification, Texas license, and CPR certification.
• Ability to operate ionizing radiation equipment safely.
• Work with Radiologist and staff to ensure accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures with quality and safety.
• Assists Radiologist and staff physicians as needed.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant patient care and proper infection control.
• Ensures equipment safety and ALARA compliance.
• Supervises and mentors students when applicable.
