Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Physician to provide comprehensive medical services in both practice and hospital settings. The role emphasizes high-quality, cost-effective care and participation in quality, patient satisfaction and performance initiatives.

The successful candidate will perform history and physical examinations, adhere to evidence-based guidelines, and collaborate with referring physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care across services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
• Current or recent experience in area of specialty.
• MD or DO - licensed by the state licensure board within the State of practice. Board Certified/Eligible in the area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on best practice evidenced based medicine.
• Demonstrates competency in assessment and communication appropriate to patient age and needs.
• Provides regular, timely communication with referring physicians, patients and families.
• Collaborates with other professionals and coordinates patient care and referrals.
