Qualifications

• Graduate medical education including residency and/or fellowship in specialty.
• MD or DO must be licensed by the state medical licensure board.
• Board certification or eligibility in specialty as required by the role.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on evidence-based medicine.
• Adhere to standardized orders and guidelines approved by the medical staff.
• Demonstrates competency in assessment, treatment, and communication with patients of all ages.
• Coordinate patient care and referrals with physicians, nurses and other professionals.
• Educate patients and families and participate in preventive care discussions.
• Review lab results and plan actions based on results.
• Maintain knowledge of current medical practices and uphold confidentiality.
