The Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) of the State of Nevada seeks a Psychological Assistant in Reno, NV. Under supervision, you will conduct evaluations, provide counseling and behavioral support to individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health conditions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates must have completed a doctoral program and register with the Nevada Board of Psychological Examiners or be able to obtain licensure in Nevada.

Formación

• Active doctoral psychology internship agreement or certificate of completion required at application
• Completion of a doctoral psychology internship and licensure to practice in Nevada or ability to obtain licensure in Nevada

Responsabilidades

• Administer, score and interpret a wide variety of diagnostic and projective tests and write comprehensive reports.
• Provide individual, family and group therapy and crisis intervention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support community-based services.
• Document services in client charts and manage case records.
• Plan and coordinate program services and prepare budget documentation.
